It blends history, drama, and humor to bring our country’s beginnings to life on the stage. From securing the Bromeley Family Theater as the venue to renting professional costumes and wigs, BLT is pulling out all the stops to celebrate America’s 250th birthday! We are proud to partner with America250PA McKean County for this special event. Come join us!! “1776” will be presented at the Bromeley Family Theater, June 12–14, through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

America250PA-McKean County will team up with two American icons, Zippo Manufacturing Company and the American Refining Group, for a Grand Celebration Concert & Fireworks Display at the Zippo/Case Museum & Flagship Store. This free, family-friendly event will feature activities for the entire family, including food trucks, kids’ activities, bounce houses and music by Tim Zimmerman and the King’s Brass and the Twin Tiers Community Band, along with a special commemoration presented by Zippo and Case officials. The event will culminate with a Grand Finale of brass players from around the county coming together to honor our nation with the playing of Irving Berlin’s God Bless America and John Philip Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever, along with a spectacular fireworks display by Skylighters Fireworks of Western NY.
