Barrington Hills is a village spanning four counties: Cook, Lake, Kane, and McHenry. With a population of about 3,923, it is one of only three Illinois municipalities to cover four counties. Known for its 5-acre minimum lot sizes and large estates, it ranks among the highest-income communities in the United States.
