Campton Hills is a village in Kane County, about 45 miles west of downtown Chicago. Incorporated in 2007 to preserve its semi-rural character, the village spans over 16 square miles of Campton and Plato townships. With a population of about 10,700, it is one of the newest municipalities in Illinois and features low-density residential areas, equestrian properties, and open spaces.
