North Aurora is a village along the Fox River in Kane County, about 40 miles west of downtown Chicago. With a population of about 18,000, it is served primarily by West Aurora School District 129 and is known for its small-town character, access to Fox River Trail recreation, and proximity to the larger city of Aurora.
