Kaneville is a tiny village in southwestern Kane County, about 50 miles west of downtown Chicago. Incorporated in 2006, it has a population of about 615 and is a quiet rural community surrounded by farmland. The village is served by Kaneland CUSD 302 and has no municipal police department, relying on the Kane County Sheriff for law enforcement.
