St. Charles is a city straddling the Fox River in Kane and DuPage counties, about 35 miles west of downtown Chicago. With a population of about 33,000, it is known for its historic downtown, strong schools in CUSD 303, and annual events like the Scarecrow Festival and Pride of the Fox RiverFest.
